Free Screen Capture is a great tool to capture still images from your screen published by Free Picture Solutions. It is a simple and very small app yet powerful in its field of operation. Once you open by clicking the icon, it will show a tray icon and will remain there. No UI for the main app is available. To capture an image please right click on the tray icon and choose "Capture". Here you can select a region or whole screen for capturing image. If you select "Full Screen" it will capture a screenshot of your current screen and the app will pop up after that. This app is an image editor too. Because when it appears containing your captured image, you can see many image editing tools there. You can draw line, rectangle, circle and by using pencil tool you can draw any shape you like. A text can also be added to the image and with highlight tool you can highlight it. Image rotation is also available for the image. One of the most useful image editing tools is "Obfuscate". It pixelates a custom region on the image and this is very useful for not displaying a part of an image.
