Anvi Uninstaller Specifications
|
Repair browser settings and network settings changed by malware.
Anvi Uninstaller does a fine job of deleting most programs, but it makes you delete them one by one. You can't even queue up multiple programs to delete, making this program take about as long to use as Windows' default method. While it still has the upper hand over that program, it doesn't size up well against batch uninstallers that are easy to find.
This program is portable, which means you can take it with you on a USB drive to uninstall programs on any computer you want. It might show up as suspicious in your antivirus software, but don't worry; it's virus free. The program features a cool, neon blue layout that is easy on the eyes, and it lets you organize the files on your computer in multiple ways: by size, how recently they were installed, and alphabetically. The main menu also lets you view all installed programs, recently installed programs, system patches, and any large programs you have installed. Anvi Uninstaller makes you focus on one program at a time, though, which is basically its only downside. The uninstall process is quite easy, as the program gives you a three-step prompt that you have to complete in order to rid yourself of the unwanted program. What's cool about it is that you can choose to create a system restore point you can use if anything goes wrong. Unfortunately, you won't be able to use the Perfect Scan option that lets you check the registry for "leftovers" unless you upgrade to the Pro version of the program.
