Recovery Explorer Standard Specifications
|
Recover data from diverse storage and file systems.
Recovery Explorer Standard can be applied to most popular file systems including FAT/FAT32, NTFS and ExFAT of Windows, Ext2-4, UFS/UFS2, JFS, ReiserFS, XFS of Linux, APFS, HFS+ of macOS. It also supports a variety of storage types: from local and external hard disk drives to USB sticks and removable memory cards of mobile devices and digital cameras. Furthermore, data can be recovered from Apple's Time Machine backups with the support of file links. The general recovery procedure consists of optional general or specified storage scan, choosing the files to be restored and the recovery process itself. The speed of performance depends greatly on both the memory capacity of the storage and the size of files to be recovered. The option of switching from the standard user interface to the built-in wizard mode simplifies the recovery procedure to several clicks making the application comprehensible for the users who have no previous experience in data recovery.
