TurboSFV (32-bit) Specifications
|
Calculate and validate file hash values.
TurboSFV is a software which calculates and validates hash values. The following hash algorithms are currently supported: SHA3-224, SHA3-256, SHA3-384, SHA3-512, BLAKE2S-256, BLAKE2B-256, BLAKE2B-384, BLAKE2B-512, SHA-224, SHA-256, SHA-384, SHA-512, SHA-512/224, SHA-512/256, XXH32, XXH64, SHA-1, MD5 and CRC-32. Checksums can be created for single files, folders or for all files on a drive. File and folder names which are encoded in Unicode are supported.
The checksums can be calculated on the fly and copied to the clipboard or saved in hash files for a later validation. Hash files with the following file extensions are supported: sfv: CRC-32 md5: Message digest 5 sh1: SHA-1 sh2: SHA-2 family TurboSFV integrates into the Windows shell with the following extensions: Info tip handler, which displays information for a hash file.; Context menu handler, which provides menu entries for the calculation and validation of hash values for files and folders.; File property sheet handler, which displays detailed hash file information.; File property sheet handler, which provides the option to generate hash values on the fly and to copy the results to the clipboard. Additional features include: file size check for hash algorithms from the SHA family; possibility to queue additional validation jobs; encoding of hash files either in ANSI or in Unicode; automatic Unicode character detection in file or folder names; absolute and relative file paths in hash files; calculation of hash values in normal or reverse order; possibility to skip the validation of previously verified files; detailed progress indication; themes to adjust the appearance; adjustable languages: English and German; command-line versions. Available versions: Private edition (PE) for home users; Commercial edition (CE) for companies, which provides extra features for deployment, portable version, defining a default hash type and special administration options. Both available as a 64-bit (x64) and 32-bit (x86) version.
