Macro Toolworks Free lets you create automated tasks that you can instigate with a hot key or set up to run at a scheduled time. This can cut down dramatically on the amount of time you spend doing repetitive tasks such as copying and moving files, sending form e-mails, or adding set text to an e-mail or document. By automating any tasks you can, you free yourself up to get more important things done.

The first time you open Macro Toolworks, it's worth it to take a look at the Help document that comes with it. While the document is pretty long, it contains a lot of useful information about all of the features of the program and how to utilize them. It is also written in a clear and accessible way, so that even if you don't have experience working with this type of program, you will catch on quickly. The interface of the app, itself, is functional and organized, with the screen split into sections for macro groups, macro lists, and macro properties. To create a new macro, just click the "Add" button, give your new macro a name, and then choose what you want it to do.
