Central Station allows you to control a compatible Elk M1 alarm panel via the Elk M1XEP. For this to work, you must also have the M1XEP connecting your alarm panel to your network. Central Station allows you to Arm / Disarm your alarm, as well as to check the current state of the Alarm as to whether or not is Armed or Disarmed. Central Station is designed to communicate with the M1XEP on the secure port, therefore encrypting traffic, which by default is port 2601
