Play 8 Ball Pool where you pot all your coloured balls in the pockets and end with the black to win.
My version of 8 Ball Pool where you pot all your coloured balls in the pockets and end with the black to win. On the first screen click on either the Change Player Names, First Time Here or I Know How To Play button. The First Time Here button takes you to the same place as the I Know How To Play one, but with a hint Window to help get you started. The Change Player Names button allows you to edit the names on the top left of the screen. Clicking this button makes two white boxes appear. Just type in a name in the first white box and then press the tab button or just click in the second white box and enter a name there too. Once you have added new names, click on First Time Here or I know How To Play to start the game. On the main screen you will see the seven red balls and the seven yellow balls plus the black all ready set up. The white "Cue" ball is floating on the end of your mouse pointer waiting for you to place it in the "D" shaped area on the line at the other end of the pool table. Just click anywhere in this "D" to place the white ball. Your cue will then appear. The cue is rotated to line up your shot by pressing the right and left mouse buttons. Holding these buttons down continues the movement. For fine rotation of the cue use the Right and Left arrow keys on your keyboard. Each press of these keys moves the cue round by one step in either a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction. If you press the down arrow key this will set the cue to the horizontal start position. To move the cue around the table you will find that this is done by moving the mouse. To hit the white cue ball just tap the end of the cue against it. The power of your shot can be made harder or softer by altering the top red bar on the table. To move the bar up (higher power/faster) just place your cue's tip over the right hand yellow arrow. To move the bar down (lower power/softer) place the cue tip over the left yellow arrow. Using your skill and judgement strike the cue ball towards one of the colours. You will soon discover just how to line up your shot best to pot the balls, though this is "Potty Pool" so sometimes things might not go quite how you wanted them to. If you have not played Pool before then you can access the UK 8 Ball Pool rules and how to play, from the top menu in the game under Help.
