Use a powerful calculator for statistical analysis or calculus.
This free calculator's advanced features give it a leg up on many similar applications. The interface doesn't simulate a real calculator, but since GraphCalc has a relatively large number of features and settings, we can understand why the developer needed the extra space. Unlike many common calculators, this program lets you draw detailed graphs in 2D and 3D, as well as analyze functions. The last feature includes such tools as finding an intersection of two functions and drawing the tangent line.
