This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.This is a great program but I have experienced one flaw since the very beginning about two years ago. When I first start the program, it will more often then not require several attempts of starting and stopping the program before it will actually retrieve the data from the LaCrosse unit.I have tried it on two computers, both running Vista Home Premium and also tried it in XP S/P2 mode all with the same results.Once it is running, it will stay that way until the computer is restarted.I cannot be sure the problem is with this software or with Windows Vista itself. (Vista reminds me of Windows ME in its ability to lock up any of four computers I have it running on). With all of the Ã¢??overheadÃ¢?? software one must have running to protect their computers from online attacks, it is hard to say where any of the issues I have experienced may originate. With this software as well as Windows itself.
