This product is not for the faint of heart. What it is intended to do is not intuitively clear, but it does it well. Think of Mail Merge in the product from Redmond. It works, if you know what you are doing.pdfedit is a swiss-army knife of features. Every time I needed to use one, there was the same learning curve I face for complex features (like my MS example above). It puts watermarks / letterhead backgrounds when I want to convert a letter to a letterhead document. It splits and combines PDF documents when you can't have everything you want in a single source file (such as merging spreadsheet, graphic and word processing source content into a single PDF - yes DDE / embedded objects sort-of-works, but it's a heavy overhead feature from Redmond that I hate to use.)You usually have to do the tool 2 or 3 times to understand how it works. But you get what you want.
