All things considered, BoomBox Internet Radio Player is a useful tool for music seekers. The program is now free and doesn't contain adware, although you still should be alert during installation, as the program bundles an online casino program. However, you can easily get around installing it simply by unchecking the correct box. On the plus side, the number of available radio stations is enormous, and, in addition to genre details, the program tells you which song currently is playing on each station. Though not always accurate, the Now Playing feature still will give you a sense of the rotation on a particular station. Stations stream through media players such as RealPlayer and iTunes, and you can start recording at any point. BoomBox Internet Radio Player's comprehensiveness, smooth buffering, and recording functionality could appeal to audiophiles looking for alternative sources for new music.
