Macromedia FreeHand MX Editor's review

I paid $495.00 plus tax on Accurip in 2010 and for me at the time just starting my silk screening business, that's a lot of money. Now in 2015, I had to wipe my Macbook out (for maintenance purposes) which had Accurip installed, when I did it I wasn't aware of having to transfer my license out of my Macbook. So, I soon found out after doing research on, that if I wanted to use Accurip I would have to upgrade to Accurip Black Pearl for $149.00 because Freehand Graphics will not reinstate my old license, which I paid $495.00 plus tax with good hard earned money, all because I didn't transfer out my original license. After speaking with Laura (Owner and supervisor of Freehand Graphics), for me I felt a bit of dishonesty as a customer, it would have been such a big help on my end (keeping in mind my own customers that have needs and deadlines), to simply put somewhere on the software, (WARNING BEFORE WIPING YOUR COMPUTER WITH OUR SOFTWARE, PLEASE TRANSFER LICENSE OR ELSE WE WILL CHARGE YOU $149.00 TO UPGRADE AND CONTINUE WITH OUR SOFTWARE.)Now it doesn't have to be exactly expressed like that, but Something! Anything! Would have helped out. So in total I spent nearly $650.00 on a software that adds extra ink to my transparencies... Nonetheless, it works well and definitely beats printing 3 transparencies at Kinkos at 3AM.Google Maps search (Freehand Graphics Software) to read my full review.Updatedon Oct 8, 2015
